New Restaurants on Maui
We are so excited to have some new businesses opening up on the west side of Maui! It’s always a joy to try new food in a new atmosphere at well-known venues. The Dirty Monkey in Lahaina town and Kolea in Kahana are two new establishments Now Open.
The Dirty Monkey venue is famous for being the old Moose McGillycuddy’s located on Front Street across from Kimo’s restaurant. Now the Dirty Monkey is a whiskey bar that offers over 250 different kinds of whiskey from around the world, along with craft beers, live music & entertainment throughout the week and great pub food to fill your tummies. Kolea is a new Malasian inspired restaurant located at the old Roy’s location in Kahana across from the McDonald’s. The owners, after years of extensive travel to places like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia are bringing these unique unexpected flavors to Maui. Kolea blends traditional methods with modern cooking techniques, creating something uniquely Hawaiian. They have also created Asian-inspired signature cocktails from tropical to urban to accompany your meals! For more information on this restaurant and a look at their menu visit: koleamaui.com.
