We enjoy many aspects to the location. Alvin was very helpful to us. We love Maui. I was very happy with help we got from Lance. I appreciated before I met him that when we passed outside he always said Aloha. He came to our room to try and help us get Netflix going. We never did get it to work because something is slow with buffering somewhere and it just kept saying can't load the movie now. We could play trailers or short films, but not a full movie. We stayed 2 weeks. First part of our stay in D5 had rotating fans in each room and the ceiling fans were great. This one had none, but when we asked we got 2 which worked great! Especially because the fans in D9 do not have much force to them. Cost of Your Accommodations: Just Right

A beautiful place to stay and the best part is the private beach access. Plus you get a chance to see the amazing sea turtle by the shore during sunset! What an awesome experience.

I was happy with the property, but disappointed in the condo.
There was no oven which we somehow missed in the original listing. I would not of booked it, the beds were very worn and the mattresses were very lumpy and uncomfortable. The carpeting needs to be replaced along with the drapes. Overall the upstairs bedrooms need updating and a refresh. The pillows were also in bad shape. For the cost we spent I was disappointed in that.

We love staying at Kahana Sunset! It’s a perfect place for our family— beach access, snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc. The pool is also right there. Perfect place for ALL of us, from the babies to the adults. The grounds are beautiful, and the groundskeepers are so friendly and nice.

Very comfy & nicely decorated. View from deck is a bit deceiving as it faces & is so close to an adjacent condo whose balcony looks right in though.

Our unit was clean a day well stocked. We spent an enjoyable week on the beach and in the pool and lounging on the beautiful grounds. The addition of the filtered water machine by the pool great. We just refill our gallon jugs each day

The property was clean with a nice, new, well laid-out kitchen. You have access to a private, sandy beach area with nice swimming and snorkeling. We snorkeled with lots of turtles and saw many fish, an eel, a small octopus, and a teeny, tiny cuttlefish. The nearby Napili Market has a great supply of just about anything you could want. Great location, very little road noise, and a easy place to relax and rid yourself of stress.

This rental did not disappoint! The location is about 15 minutes out of Lahaina - good views, nice little beach, and great snorkel area with lots of sea turtles! The property is somewhat outdated and does not have an oven, but appreciated the multiple bathrooms for a group of 6 staying. Note that the kitchen does not have some typical items like mixing bowls, but you can make it work! Loved using the deck and check-in/check out was very simple.

Perfect location and easy no contact check in and check out process. The place was clean in general but there were bugs which the welcome binder told us to expect and the bedding / livingroom set definitely showing their age. Also the construction finishes had room for improvement. Biggest issue was the carpet tack strip would stab you both at the livingroom / kitchen transition and on the steps.

The property was well maintained, we were close to the shopping center and two phenomenal snorkeling beaches. Our room was well laid out, plenty of space, parking was a breeze, and the access to the main highway was simple.

We only had one issue. The bedroom with the Queen and twin bed in it either has bed bugs or dust mites. My daughter had to use a cortisone cream the entire time, even after washing the bedding several times. Everything else was wonderful.

This property was the perfect location for our family of 5 on our first visit to Maui. We were traveling right before the Coronavirus craziness began and when I called Sullivan Properties for information about status of travel they were very helpful. We are so glad we decided to continue with our plans. With 5 adults D9 was just the right size. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We loved having the small beach so close. We were able to snorkel and saw plenty of sea turtles, a couple even came onto the beach. The location was perfect, close to great beaches and hikes with lots of grocery stores and restaurant convenient as well. We hope to be able to visit again!

I guess if it had not rained one day we would have rated it a 10.....overall a good stay. We are repeat customers, enjoy the Kahana Sunset very much. This is not our first stay on the island or this property. Always been a great experience working with Steve, always follows up quickly. Always a pleasure, will look forward to working with him on future stays
