Things to keep in mind when planning your trip to Maui:
The Vaccination Exemption Program allows travelers to avoid a 10-day quarantine; it is an option for people vaccinated in the United States and its territories. Find out more on the Hawaii Covid-19 Official Website.
The State of Hawaii only accepts Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from the list of the Trusted Testing and Travel Partners, including any tests verified through the State’s Digital Health Pass Partners - Azova, Clear, and CommonPass.
Face masks are still required inside public places, including hotels, stores, and restaurants.
For restaurant indoor sitting, proof of vaccination is now required. For outdoor sitting and take outs, proof of vaccination is not required. Be prepared to give your phone number for exposure tracing at dine-in restaurants.
There is a car rental shortage on Maui at this time. Please reserve your car in advance. Click here for a list of Maui Car Rental Companies.
Plan your activities and reservations in advance. Most restaurants, luaus, waters activities and expeditions have limited availability due to the social distancing restrictions.
We recommend getting Travel Insurance when planning your trip at these challenging times.
Maui remains one of the safest places to travel to in the United States. Please browse through our collection of our Maui Condo Vacation Rentals or give us a call at 1-800-332-1137 to see which unit will be right for you. We are looking forward to helping you plan your dream Maui vacation.
