Loved having a washer and dryer. Bedroom was a bit crowded with not much space for suitcases. We ended up putting suitcases in second bathroom to keep them out of our way. Check in and out very easy. No issues.

10 out of 10 experience. Condo is in a great location. Condo is roomy and had everything we needed. Washer/dryer and 2 full bathrooms added an immeasurable convenience factor. Complex is a lot of fun with music, pool, restaurant and bar. Staff was very sweet and informative. Highly recommend.

Great view. Location has several walkable restaurants - Captain Jack's on site, Dollie's pizza across the street and others. Maui Brewing Co Kahana was a favorite but has closed. Having a car is recommended if you want to go to Kaanapali, Lahaina or other areas. Unit is first floor but elevated a little above the grounds. You will hear some buzz from the restaurant when on the Lanai but we kind of liked it and you can still hear the surf. Sunrises and sunsets are amazing of course. We saw whales and sea turtles. 2 new pickleball courts. The only tennis court with a net has some pretty large cracks but we still played on it every day.

Great time on Maui. We always love staying at The Sands of Kahana. Nice resort, pool, breach, restaurant, bar and a short walk to other restaurants and stores. We always meet lots of other guests to share stories with.

This was a great place to stay! I have been to Maui many times but this was the first time with this type of property. It was clean, comfortable and had a great view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The pool, hot tub and restaurant were nice amenities.

Great vacation rental! I've been to Maui many times and wish I had found this before. Clean, comfortable, good amenities, beautiful views of the ocean and close, easy access to the beach. The onsite restaurant was a nice feature for those nights when we didn't want to cook or go to another place to eat. I would recommend this place to anyone who is going to Maui and I will definitely be staying there again.

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon staying at the Sands of Kahana. Our room was perfect! We were right off the ocean and were able to watch the sunset from our lanai every night. We were close to the pool, yet the foliage gave us the privacy we wanted. We couldn’t hear anyone around us and felt secluded. We ate several meals the at Beach House which was a short walk away and so convenient after a long day of exploring the island. Be sure to talk with the concierge and book excursions early on. The book up fast! We will be coming back (hopefully sooner than later!!)

Our condo at Sands of Kahana was great we stay in unit 318 every two years. A ocean view 1st floor you can’t ask for anymore ! Sullivan travels made everything so convenient with updated text to me with all the info I needed. The condo was clean, and had everything we needed. We will be there in two more years can’t wait to go back. We vacationed the first week of June 2023.

318 was not a bad room. A little overpriced In my opinion, (I’m a very seasoned traveler, and this room is over priced)
Great view, and a pretty decent room. No air-conditioning at all, but if you open the doors, you at least get a good breeze. The screaming children with no security present, the continual running of the power washers mid week, too much to bear. Not a good selection if you’re looking for some privacy and quiet. This is a very tired room. Meaning, it’s ready for an update!

Beautiful view from the lanai of this unit, so we spent much time relaxing there. Sands of Kahana very nice, with great beach and restaurant. The unit itself could be upgraded and cleaned more thoroughly, and the back bedroom was small, dark, and noisy with its proximity to people going up and down stairs. However, we really did enjoy our stay and watching whales from the lanai, which superseded any negatives.

I have stayed at the Sands of kahana in the past and have had a wonderful time. Unit 318 had a water pipe leak in the ceiling and it turned out to be a sewer pipe above the kitchen counter. This made the kitchen completely off limits and resulted in the condo smelling of urine, Building maintenance came in and out of the condo without prior notification cutting holes in the ceiling. They could not determine the scope of work needed. And responsible party we were told. A plumber also came but did not return. Or fix the problem. We had limited use and privacy in the condo. The leak was caused by the upstairs condo and they stopped using the master shower after we ran up and asked them what source of water they were using. It turned out to be the sewer drain. Unfortunately there was no offer to move us to another condo. Our children were staying in another condo in the same building and we spent more time in their condo. We only slept and showered in the back bedroom. When I asked who would clean and sanitize all the repeated sewer water and splashes all over the kitchen one Sullivan employee told me to do it my self with towels. We did receive a partial refund but with the limited use, sanitation concerns, smell of urine, and lack of privacy we were less than happy. When we arrived the patio had lots of sand and piles of leaves which I swept and disposed of. The shower pan is grimy looking. The condo has seen lots of wear and tear. Our sons condo was wonderful and thankfully they were gracious with letting us share their condo but it was limiting to their family privacy.too. We love the Sans of kahana and will return but not to this condo.

The Condo was exactly as advertised. The first floor made it easy to enjoy the sunrises Egbert morning from either the patio or the beach. This location is also a two minute walk from the resort restaurant, and around three minutes from the front desk where I was able to reserve tours and other things to do at the event center. Since my Christmas vacation was interrupted due to a winter storm it was greatly appreciated that the property manager was flexible and allowed me to easily reschedule. All together, I will be staying at this condo again in the near future.

Great condo for our family of four!

Reservation staff (Sullivan Properties) and the front desk staff were all very kind and accommodating. The unit was clean, however, some furniture needs replacing (dresser drawers stuck) and there was no laundry soap as promised. Otherwise a very pleasant view!

The location was great. The unit was clean but could use updating. Kitchen drawers didn't work right. Clothes dryer squealed rather loudly. Internet did not work well in the bedroom.
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The property manager was very responsive to fix our concerns quickly.

The unit is well maintained and a great value. While the bedroom is at the back, because of the louvered windows; there is always cross ventilation coming in from the mountain side of the condo and one can still hear the ocean! I was concerned about being so close to the pool and restaurant but because it is 1 unit in, I never heard anything from those areas. I have been coming to Sands of Kahana for over 10 years now and always enjoyed every different unit I have stayed in.

For the most part, we had a very nice experience in Unit #318, in Sands of Khana, Maui. It was nicely furnished, with comfy sofas, sufficient kitchen appliances and really nice location. The bed was super comfortable. Great location. First floor but feels like 2nd floor as we are up a level with really nice ocean views. Parking was always a challenge but I imagine its every on the island and even in Hawaii in general. All was great. Erin made sure to send us regular emails with detailed information as our check in time approached.

Maui was much warmer than we imagined. So appreciative of the A/C unit in the living room. It really made a difference for our vacation. Without it, I think we would think twice about staying in the same unit. We loved our stay at SOK 255. It is a gorgeous unit and beautifully remodeled. A lot of attention to the detail for the furnishing, lighting, and decor. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and made cooking so easy. Also, we liked the noodles for swimming at the beach. We love staying at the Sands of Kahana! Location is good and our granddaughter lives right across the street so it's perfect!!

The Vacation Rental was excellent. Traveled with my husband, and two kids, 12 and 17 and a friend tagged along. The unit was aweseome and the views were better than the pictures show. The Sea Turtles out front was the highlight of the trip. In addition, the amentites the condo offered were a bonus, the pool and jacuzzi, pickleball, on site Restaurant, and gym, etc.

Our family had an amazing time at this gorgeous beach front property. The place far exceeded our expectations, the pictured did a great job showing the property but in person it was stunning. The view was spectacular, especially all of the rainbows and sunsets from the livingroom and lanai. The home was beautiful and spacious with a huge kitchen. There was a great selection of beach items for us to use so we didn't have to buy anything. The property manager was great with communicating. We would definitely stay here again.

This was are 4th time staying at sands of kahana the third time renting thru Sullivan.We always enjoy are stay there there’s pretty much all you need there within walking distance. Don’t think I will come at spring break time again to many little kids not following the rules at the pool l will blame the parents for that.Overall it’s a good place to stay and I plan on staying there many more times probably every year till I can’t do it anymore. This was our first time renting from the Sullivan Properties team. That said, we were nothing but impressed with the entire experience! The Sands of Kahana 255 was an amazing unit. Very spacious and clean. The condo was very modern inside and had all the amenities a family on vacation could use. The condo is configured in a manner where our kids had their space, that was separate from ours—which was great. The views from the condo were amazing and could be viewed from all angles on the ocean side of the condo; with two large sliding glass doors and two sliding windows which allowed for the cool breeze in at night and of course, the awesome sounds of the ocean.

The beach at the Sands of Kahana was great and rarely crowded. Lounge chairs were also available in the beach area. Condo-255 also had some small ice chests and floats for the water we were able to utilize. Beach towels were also provided-thank you !!!

The Sands of Kahana is located very close to the other towns which made evening outings and activities fun-without having to drive long distances.

Overall, I rate our stay at the Sands of Kahana 255: 5+ stars. I can’t think of anything we would have changed.

I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Kim on the Sullivan team She was super-helpful!! She assisted me with the initial booking of the condo, helped with my request regarding recommending local restaurants and other activities, and immediately had someone respond for a very minor maintenance issue. Kim was always quick to respond, and I absolutely loved working with her during out stay!

I would not hesitate to use the Sullivan Properties team again. They earned my respect and trust.

My family really enjoyed staying at this condo! It has a beautiful view of the ocean, beach, pool, and on-site restaurant. It is very spacious- it's among the largest condos we've stayed in. The condo is in very good condition and tastefully decorated. Honestly, the online pictures don't do it justice as the place feels even better and larger in person. Although there is a window A/C unit in the living room, we didn't use it because we preferred to use the ceiling fans and ejoyed the fresh breeze and sounds of the ocean. There are two sliding glass doors that also include sliding screen doors that lead to the lanai from the living room and the master bedroom, so this was a great way to enjoy the ocean breeze without the bugs. Our kids did use the second A/C unit in the second bedroom and their room stayed nice and cool. We very much appreciated the beach towels that were provided as that saved on what we needed to pack. We rented snorkel gear on-site and got suggestions from the gear rep for great nearby beaches to snorkel at. You can snorkel directly in front of the condo, but since the gear rep said there isn't coral or much sea life besides turtles to see there, we opted for short drives to other great snorkel spots! We would gladly stay here again!

This was a great condo in an excellent location. This was much larger than we were expecting. Very clean and plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was more than large enough for all four of us to be in there getting dinner ready at the same time. Right on the beach with spectacular views. From the balcony, living room and master bedroom you had excellent views of the beach, pool, two islands and the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever find. The staff at the resort were very nice and always available to answer any questions.

We very much enjoyed Condo #255. Large unit, 2 bed and 2 bath. Oceanfront views, saw lots of turtles from our balcony. Very well equipped except no salt and pepper, so we had to buy that. Boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel masks and floaty were in the closet for our use. Very comfortable unit. Only complaint was when cleaning staff propped open the elevator door so no one could use the elevator. Did not see why it was necessary to prop the door open.

We spent a week in SOK255. We had relatives in 2 other units on the property, and ours was, in my opinion, the nicest. The kitchen is updated and very well stocked. The unit had snorkels/masks, boogie boards, suntan lotion (reef friendly) and aloe vera. We all took turns hosting dinner, and the units easily accommodated 12 people. Only issue we had was not quite enough dinner plates and silverware when we hosted, but we easily borrowed from one of the other units. The a/c was really helpful , the view was spectacular and we loved watching the sunsets from the deck. Have fun!

The property 255 is just great. Absolutely like the pictures. It is at a great local rink if you want to be around the Lahaina/Kaanapali area. It was absolutely clean and had a lot of towels and blankets. Great view from the lanai. We saw whales every day. Very well equipped kitchen. They also provided beach towels. Beach play items were not guaranteed but we did find two boogie boards and umbrella.

Great condo - newly remodeled, comfortable, clean, amazing view, easy parking. My only minor complaint is that there were no basic cooking items, like spices and olive oil, and no ziploc bags, foil, etc. Those would have been nice to have. Amazing views. Best on the island. Been dealing with Sullivan for years. Great people. Everyone at Sullivan Properties is wonderful to work with and has been for years. They are very caring and seem like family. Condo was up to date and has an amazing kitchen. It was nice to have the living room air conditioner. The cost was a bit high but worth every penny because of the unforgettable views and the beautiful kitchen and bathrooms.

Always feel like I am home when I return to 272 on Maui. Beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath condo on-the-beach in Maui. Well appointed modern kitchen, large dining room table and counter seating with spacious living room with 2ed sofa a fold out for additional sleepers. TV’s in living room and 2ed bedroom which has 2 queen sized beds. This trip’s surprise was lots of new stuff in kitchen including a new 3 level dishwasher. My favorite is the clear glass wall in 2ed bathroom shower to check out the beach scene while getting ready. Easy access to 7th floor via elevator from parking garage. Beautiful air conditioned space including perfect water view out door lanai. The place is a step above exceptional! We all had a great time cooking, visiting and playing on the beach, in the pools, hot tub or sitting in Capt. Jack’s restaurant. Grills outside on grounds by pool and beach very convenient. Always a good vacation well spent here!

This is our 5th time staying at Sands of Kahana and 2nd time at unit 272

This visit the restaurant is now Captain Jacks which was previously located on Front Street in downtown Lahaina near the Banyon tree and was always very busy there.

The food is Amazing and the service was fantastic! We enjoyed 4 breakfasts and 3 dinners there.

Unit 272 has wide open views of the ocean from both inside the unit and of course the balcony deck.

Management through Sullivan properties are great to work with and we appreciate everything they do from booking to checkout.

I would definitely recommend Sands of Kahana and Sullivan properties to everyone wanting a great location in West Maui.

We traveled with our parents to Hawaii and loved our stay here. We spent most of our time on the deck watching people and turtles. The condo was very clean and comfortable. There are no extra kitchen items so make sure to bring coffee for that first morning.

We have stayed in 272 over a dozen times & were happy to be there again. We appreciate the remodel in 2017 but a few minor improvements would go a long way. Cleaners need to be more thorough. Area behind night stands in mbr has much dirt and stains on the wall. Very few cooking utensils, ie spatulas, large spoons,etc. Serious rusting on base of lanai chairs (they were not part of 2017 renovation). AC in 2nd bdr had minimal cold air. Master bath drawers are in disrepair. Lastly, roll-up shades on lanai are inoperable. Overall great condo, will definitely stay there again. The new living room furniture is a great touch. Most important, Evette @ Sullivan Prop was outstanding to work with and has best customer service skills we have ever seen. The only disappointing issue was SOK staff at check-in never advised us the restaurant and bar would be closed 2 days into our 10 day stay.

This is our third visit to the Sands of Kahana. We stayed at another Sullivan Property the last two times. This is now our favorite unit. The view is amazing. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The bath tub was a great added feature. And having air conditioning was wonderful plus. My family of 5 loved it and will definitely be back.

It is an amazing property- we saw turtles from out balcony every single morning. Beach in front of this property is also a great place to snorkel- we saw a family of turtles which was so beautiful! You should go near the rocky part of the beach to see fish and turtles. The property has A/C, gorgeous views, washer and dryer to help you wash towels, the location is ideal to get to most places. There are many restaurants nearby. Check in and check-out process was very smooth. The kitchen is completely loaded with utensils if you choose to cook. The property is so much more beautiful than the pictures here. Would highly recommend staying here if you have a chance.

We have stayed in this home for a total of 4 times. It is just a great place to stay. The Sullivan team is amazing. If you need anything during your stay just contact them. Their office is right down the street. No fees for parking your car.

Beautiful condo with stunning views, and dreamy breeze’s.
This condo is nicely situated is a quiet location and comfortably fits 6 people.
Many towels, and starter supplies were provided.
Only recommendation would be to add lids, laundry basket, scissors, first aid kit, comfortable beach chairs, and Tupperware containers.

This property is absolutely amazing! Clean and spacious and I love that it’s right on the beach. I especially loved that it’s not on a public beach so there were very few people. Watched the sunset every night either from the beach or from the perfectly situated patio.

From start to finish this rental was EASY. We had the greatest experience booking, staying, and returning with this rental. We are frequent visitors of The Sands of Kahana but this rental processes has been our easiest! Very clean property and the views are AMAZING! Will definitely return!

Sands of Kahana is a great place to stay in West Maui. Great Location near everything. We have stayed there both as a couple and with our entire extended family. This unit is on the 7th floor on building 2 which is closest to the ocean/beach. Great ocean views from every window. Updated furniture/decor and it has AC. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Check in is very easy and management are fantastic to work with.

Our unit was very clean and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was well appointed . Loved the clean and well working gas grills for barbecuing. Views were fantastic.

Amazing 5-night stay. From arrival to departure, we could not stop enjoying the amazing views from the living room and 2 separate patios. You will fall asleep to sound of waves in both bedrooms. Location is also great with small beach and restaurant right outside. 5-10 min drive from Kaanapali or Lahaina. With clean rooms, fully stocked, large kitchen, and fresh towels, we had everything we needed. Definitely will return.

This condo was very nice and clean. Location was great! Plenty of room for our family if 4. Sitting on the balcony and watched 3-4 sea turtles every day and even saw a monk seal!

What you see, is what you get and this is no lie.I have picture of this property that are identical to the one on the website. The location is simply incredible, directly on the beach. Very well kept and clean Bar-B-Qs are available to all guests which is a great idea and a restaurant. The property is clean and well-maintained with a magnitude of plants and flowers. Customer service was also very good. Had a minor plumbing problem(kitchen sink) fixed next day. As mentioned to property owners, our condo could use little refreshing but nothing major.
Was there for more of a relaxing vacation than an active one, we visited and dined out, swam in the ocean and took it easy on the beach.
I would go back anytime. I highly recommend it.

Hello, Thank you for reading our story. My wife and I got married on Maui 17 years ago. It was our 1st time and we stayed at the Sheraton on Black Rock. Then we stayed at the Allie the next time. Super expensive there, but it is nice . Then we were looking around and we stopped by Sands of Kahana. They told us that it was a time share resort, but a gentleman by the name of Pat Sullivan owns a few that he rents out. His office is right down the street. So of course we drove over there. I walked in and he says ya have a seat and it just so happened that unit 272 and a couple others were open that day. He gave us the keys and said take your time no hurry I am here all day. I couldn't believe it, He just hands me 4 keys like everything is cool and right on. When we walked into 272 we knew this was our spot. It has been our spot ever since. Which we have been to Maui about 18 times. Just like this last trip no disappointments . I cannot say enough about Pat and his grown kids that also work there and the entire staff. Stephanie is awesome and so is Steve. I know most of them I always stop and chat with Pat for a few minutes. Unit 272 has amazing views that never stop. The unit is clean and he replaced the mattresses in the guest bedroom. Very comfortable and there is no issues with water pressure when it comes to the shower. It is always very clean and tidy when we arrive. You will see housekeeping staff . They do not even enter any of Pats units. He has his own people that come in and clean. There is a great restaurant across the street called Dollies. I left a menu for you in the kitchen drawer to the left of the sink. They make everything in house. My family and I enjoyed all aspects of the SOK property. From the happy hour at The Beach, to the onsite rentals of paddle boards. The property was clean and fresh and staff friendly.

This time was such a renewing and peaceful experience, couldn’t have ask for more. We have stayed at Sands of Kahana before and always enjoy it but this time was so epic after all the frustration of the pandemic. Just the sound of the ocean day and night was so reviving.

We love staying at Sands of Kahana. Unit 272 is one of the nicest units we’ve stayed in. Love the corner unit with full ocean view and 2 lanais.
There is air conditioning also which makes it very comfortable although it does not work well in the guest bedroom but there are fans than can be used.
We had an issue with some water leakage from the hot water heater. Called Sullivan, left the place for the day and all was fixed when we came back from
a day of snorkeling.

The location of our rooms were as close to the beach as possible. The decor was beautiful. We appreciated the air conditioning. We would definitely recommend Sullivan properties at the Sands to friends.

Had a great condo with a/c well equipped with all the necessary items a family needs including 2 coffee makers.Ocean view from lanai was spectacular.Enough kitchen equipment to satisfy anyone.Towels were easily washed as needed with washer and dryer in unit.Furnture was adequate as were beds.A/C had a bit of trouble getting to 2nd bedroom but there were fans to help that need.Sheets in 2nd bedroom need replacing.Otherwise everything was GREAT and enjoyed byall.Would love to return sometime in future.
