Amazing

Unit is as advertised in the pictures. Amazing ocean view from the deck and living room, we saw whales off shore most days from the deck, and turtles and even a seal on the beach! Unit was clean as could be, no bug problems to speak of. A/C worked great and felt super nice to come home to after a long day in the sun/beach. Location is perfect, with a sandy beach on site and right in the middle of Kaanapali and Napili/Kapalua. Space is very large (family of 5), not typical small/stuffy condo. 3 bathrooms were nice so each bedroom had their own space. Only negative was elevator breaking down several times a day for most of the trip. Its a a pain in the neck to carry up groceries or your beach gear (and self) 7 flights up after a long day at the beach. Thats the only complaint though. I guess pigeon poop on deck/table was also a minor inconvenience, but not too bad. Sullivan was great and easy to work with, and even brought us a bag of dishwasher pods when we noticed we didnt have any. There was ample supplies under the stairs on our visit, 2 small beach chairs, noodles, a boogie board, lots of snorkel gear, fins, sand toys, volleyball and football, even water shoes. Note, the snorkel gear lacks the clip connecting snorkel to mask. But if you can get some clips or find a fix, no need to rent any gear! Tons of kitchen supplies too. It was an amazing trip to beautiful Maui and the place felt clean, comfy and even a little bit luxurious. Would definitely stay here again and book through Sullivan!

We had such a great stay here. The location was fantastic, easy beach access and walkable to a couple small markets and restaurants. It is 10 minutes drive to larger whiter sand beaches with snorkeling and many other markets and restaurants. The unit was very clean and large and accommodated 6 adults and two toddlers easily. The views were wonderful especially the beach facing balcony. We rented some beach chairs and toys and then found a good stash in the cabinet under the stairs so we were well supplied. Check-in and out was very easy. I spoke with the manager a few times before we arrived and received very warm and friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

We had the most spectacular time at this property. It was like being at home, but in a magical location. Th home was stocked with everything you’d need to take a family vacation. The beds were comfortable and the home was immaculate. We had large family dinners every night and the kitchen was ready for use. The view of f the ocean and pool was the best! There were floats and other beach equipment under the stairs. We could not have picked a better place to stay!! We’ll be back!!

We brought our family to Maui for Christmas. 474 was perfect for four adults and 3 kids lots of room for everyone well equipped no disappointments. Resort has everything you need. Beach pool pickleball restaurant. Definitely would recommend

We had the trip of a lifetime staying at this beautiful condo. It truly was just as beautiful being home as doing all the “Maui” getaways. This unit was perfectly stocked for a family stay from toys to kitchen essentials. Looking out the window you can see the pool, vacationers and many a turtle. We loved our stay ❤️

Sands of Kahana Property:My husband and I have stayed at the Sands of Kahana in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. The property has easy beach access and two pools (including a spa and a children’s pool). The beach is a little bit on the smaller side, but it doesn’t generally feel really crowded. The ocean is pretty gentle on this little beach on this side of the island, which is what we prefer. Parking is generally pretty easy, but some of the spots can be on the smaller side. There are tennis courts, smaller gyms in each of the buildings, a restaurant near the beach that has a daily happy hour, and lastly, there are paddleboards, kayaks, etc. that you can rent (as long as wind permits). The elevators can be a little slow / get backed up; especially when multiple units are checking out at the same time and heading to the airport. I’d recommend packing and getting your car organized earlier than you were planning as the elevator will generally stop at every floor as people are gearing to leave.Location:The location is about 15 minutes from the main downtown Lahaina area and it’s about half that time away from Whalers Village which has some fancier shopping options (this is also where Hula Grill, MonkeyPod, and Leilani’s is located).You are also pretty close to The Gazebo which is in the opposite direction of Lahaina. There are also good options within walking distance including, Miso Phat Sushi and Hawai‘ian Village Coffee.Accommodations:The penthouse has three separate bedrooms and they all have an ensuite bathroom and a balcony / lanai. The views outside each of the rooms (including the common area) are really gorgeous. Sullivan provides a pretty solid starter kit – each bathroom has about two rolls of toilet paper and hand soap (it might be in the original bottle or in the decorative dispenser), the kitchen had a small bottle of Dawn and two paper towel rolls, and the laundry room contained a small bottle of detergent. While they don’t provide any beach or pool equipment, they do keep any equipment that is in good condition that people leave behind and there was a pretty decent selection. Lastly, there was an A/C unit that kept the place nice and cool.Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great unit, great location, great facilities.

We stayed in the condo for my son's wedding in Lahaina. There were 3 couples - each room had its own bathroom which made it very comfortable and private for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils - but bring your own staples as the pantry is empty. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was as described in this condo. The condo was perfect for the six of us. The sun sets were fantastic every night.

This unit is absolutely beautiful. Beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. The onsite restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner was awesome and service was great! Property was very clean.

The place was wonderful. Pictures were great, the actual place is better. Larger than how it appears in the photos. The master bedroom was a luxurious treat, facing the ocean. The other two bedrooms were large, facing the mountain. The upstairs room felt like a unit unto itself. One person in our group did stay on the pull out sofa bed in the living room. It's large, but not the most comfortable as its a bit old.
Kitchen is updated and a good size. The condo. does have AC so you'll be comfortable.
Walking to see the sunrise on the beach each morning was spectacular. And the evenings on the balcony having dinner and star gazing was a treat. (We star some shooting stars!). There's a bar and grill on property for convenience. Many open grills to use. A small gym too (outdated but functional). About a 10 min. drive to Front street. There's really good sushi place across the street (Miso Phat). In short, we had a really great time. Recommended!!!

Our condo was exceptionally beautiful! It provided great views of the beach and the resort. I loved that it was spacious and was well kept. On top of that, it had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, as well as snorkeling equipment.

This unit in the Sands of Kahana is perfect for three couples. Each room is a master suite with it's own bathroom. The kitchen has all been updated with new appliances. The air conditioning unit works really well for the warm evenings. The Sands of Kahana has a restaurant with a bar downstairs with a really nice happy hour and pretty good food. Our stay had the amenities of a resort with the feel of being home. I would definitely return!

Spacious suite with ocean views from every room except upstairs. Top notch appliances, including the washer and dryer. The kitchen was huge and well appointed. Our favorite room was the patio off the master bedroom. We ate every meal we’re were home there. The view was outstanding- you could see your party in both pools and on the beach and it wasn’t as windy as patios on the other buildings. Laundry soap, a hairdryer,books, kid sand toys, a chair, mats, fins, beach towels, and snorkels were in the unit when we were there. We have stayed in buildings 2 and 1 before and this is our favorite building because of the views, location, and wind factor.

This family’s first big vacation together and our condo was so much more then imagined. Incredible beautiful views off 3 different balconies. The condo was extremely clean newly remodeled. So spacious and decorated modern with Hawaiian style. Couldn’t have been better .

Unit 384 is perfect for a family! We loved looking over the lanai and spotting turtles swimming in the ocean right below us. This unit was stocked with everything we could need! especially beach necessities and more! Loved the restaurant on property, and great beach right outside the door!!

Beautiful condo, great spot oceanfront. Accommodates larger family group, yet provides privacy. Extras were greatly appreciated: coffee pods, soap, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, spices. Prompt responses. Sullivan Properties were very professional and responsive.

We loved the room, the view from the deck was beautiful. The beach and ocean was right there. There was plenty of room and clean. The Hide-a-Bed was not comfortable. But overall the beds were great!

The views from this balcony & living area are incredible. We spotted several whales while we were enjoying our time outside. The no AC was not an issue, the condo has fans and the breeze is nice coming off the ocean and into the condo. Plenty of space in the kitchen for cooking & enjoying meals in. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was amazing! Especially the location: right by the beach.

We loved our time in unit 375! The view and location cannot be beat and we really cannot wait to return! The beach was wonderful, pool was nice and we enjoyed the proximity to restaurants, shops and so much more.

Our family had a great stay here! The unit was clean and had everything we needed. We really appreciated having fresh smelling clean linens, plenty of soap, tissues, TP, trash bags, beach towels, and a few pods for doing laundry. The views were absolutely amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony watching sea turtles. Lucky enough to see one taking a nap on the beach. The on site grill/bar was great for breakfast and Happy hour was really nice. The pool was warm and hot tub was perfect. The grounds are so pretty with lots of flowers. Thanks for the coffee machine that works with keurig kcups!!! We enjoyed Monkeypods for lunch at Whalers Village, horseback riding at Ironwood Ranch, dinner at the Plantation House, Merriman's, and Nick's were amazing! Took a whale watch tour on a luxury boat with Hawaii Nautical. Bummer no whales, but the water was beautiful. Ziplines were fun in Kapalua. Just driving the coastline is amazing. It was a bit warm in the evening with no a.c. but the view made it worth it. We left the front door open a bit for a great cross breeze. The only negative was the day we had to leave the elevator broke down and we had to huff up 7 flights of stairs and back down with lots of luggage.

Place was awesome. I went on a family vacation and everyone in our group loved it. Great views (7th floor facing the water), great space, and a private beach. The property was close to all major beaches and an easy route from the airport. I definitely recommend it.

First time to Maui and wow did this place blow us away - was better than I could have imagined and even better than the photos. Fantastic location, felt like we had our own little secluded area - would 100% rent this place again.

A great place for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids (age 9). Plenty of room in the condo. The view was spectacular!! Beach was safe and we watched a couple of turtles swimming around us. Paddle boards and snorkeling equipment available to rent. The pool was right there as well. Only downside was,( while staff was great), the food and drinks at the bar was mediocre. We had a great vacation and hope to return.

I stayed at the Sands of Kahana and had the time of my life. It was a beautiful Condo on a beautiful beach. I would rent from Sullivan properties again. I had no problems at all before I I went on vacation the people at sullivan properties answered all my questions and were very helpful and friendly.

One of my all-time favorite Airbnbs! Perfect location, perfect weather, perfect view, perfect amenities. We had a group of 6 (3 couples) and it was a phenomenal stay. We liked that we could walk to the beach, walk to food, enjoy the stunning view from our balcony, use the beach chairs, wash our clothes, and leverage the fully stocked kitchen. My only tip is to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash if you’re staying for more than a couple of days because the ones provided are quite small. We’ve stayed at two other airbnbs in Maui previously, and this one was definitely our favorite. We can’t wait to return to this spot!

This was our second time staying at Sands of Kahana 375. The location is perfect and the resort has everything you need right there! Beautiful ocean views and a nice beach for swimming and sunbathing! This is a wonderful resort for a family vacation and we can’t wait to return again!!

This place was perfect for me and my family. We had 5 adults and a baby. The place is way more spacious than the pictures make it look and the view is unmatched! Literally right on the water and could see whales splashing from the room. There are beach chairs, umbrella, and sandcastle supplies in the closet. The kitchen is well equipped. No complaints. Perfect stay!

A rescheduled trip from 2 years earlier. Same unit with a slightly better price this time. Would have been good to know that the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds but the 2nd bedroom has 2 full size beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Kitchen sink needs repair, had to use a soap bottle to keep it shut off. have stayed at SoK previously and has always thought each unit should have been stocked with glass cleaner because of all the glass top tables. Pest control and window service was done and we were asked to be gone during these times. has to clean the unit ourselves because we couldn't give housekeepers 24 hours notice cleaning needed to be done which charged an additional fee. Loved our stay and the unit, just has a couple of glitches.

Property was great for our family of 7! Spectacular ocean view, close proximity to the beach and pools, ample beach towels/sand toys for the little ones! As mentioned, the unit does NOT have AC, so it can get pretty warm depending on when you travel. We had fans on and opened all screened windows and didn’t use the blankets, and we’re able to stay comfortable at night. Check in process was easy! Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Maui!

Our family had a terrific visit to Maui and the place was essential in creating that great "home" for us. The location is fantastic - on a beach, pool, restaurant all onsite - and local amenities (grocery, gear rental, McDonald's) literally across the street. The condo was extremely clean and well-appointed with cookware, glasses, plates, etc. - super easy to just grab a few essentials from the store and feel at-home here. The view and balcony are the biggest "wow factors" of this place - truly amazing! Kelly was extremely responsive and the communication was clear before, during, and nearing the end of our stay. Would highly recommend this place.

Loved our trip and our stay at Sands of Kahana. 6 of us in our party ranging from 79 to 14. This resort has a nice beach out front with tons of turtles and Black Rock Beach to the South 5 minutes and Napili Beach to the North 5 minutes. Can’t beat the view from the room either, oceanfront for sure and what beautiful sunsets!

The condo is large and clean. The location is great. Having a restaurant on site is convenient. The elevator was broken for several hours so we couldn’t bring up our luggage. Sullivan customer service was responsive.

The furnishings are dated but the location, views and beach make up for it. Check in and out at the 24 hr desk was very easy. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and it does not disappoint. The views are to die for and the facility is nice. Convenient to have the beach and pool right there. BBQs are available and there’s a restaurant on site. I will keep coming back again. The elevator was broken when we arrived so we could not bring our luggage up for several hours.

We had a wonderful stay at Kahana Sands. It was a 5 star experience. My only negative is that they didn't check out any equipment for the golf, basketball, tennis courts, etc. Other than that, it was wonderful!

This is a very nice property with an outstanding view. The pictures and description of the property were spot-on. The only hiccup we had was not being able to initially locate the third bedroom when we first arrived (the door to the room was behind the open front door), but we laugh about that now.

The sound of the ocean outside our windows was everything we hoped it would be, and made for great sleeping at night. The main deck was large enough to accommodate our group of five comfortably, and we spent time on it every day we were there.

The beach in front of the facility is very nice, but a little rocky in places. We still swam from this beach most every day...very convenient. It's smaller compared to some other beaches, but that was okay with us. It never felt crowded.

Parking was sufficient (spaces are a bit tight), and we never had an issue with finding a space in our building's underground lot. We were in and out of this lot at all hours of the day/evening and were always able to get a space.

There is plenty of room in this unit to spread out. We had five adults in our group, and never felt crowded. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals, and the fridge/freezer is large enough to hold plenty of food, drinks, and ice for a 10-day stay. We did have to buy more paper towels, but all other supplies (including toilet paper) were sufficient for the length of our stay.

The washer/dryer were very nice to have for cleaning/drying our towels. There was no maid service, so we did our own sweeping and general clean-up, but I think this is typical for a condo rental(?).

FYI, we did encounter a few roaches in our unit, which was pretty gross. We did leave snacks on the counters, which the unit instructions discouraged. Still...

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view, the space, and the deck were exactly what we were looking for.

Very nice location and view is great. Spacious 2 bedroom corner unit with privacy and a dual master like second bedroom. Furnishings are dated but still okay. Deck and window glass has not been cleaned I awhile. And deck lounges are old.
The deck was very dirty when we arrived but Sullivan had it cleaned after we contacted them.

We have stayed at SOK many times so we were familiar with what the unit should look like. Being as it is an owned unit, they have done a beautiful job with the decor! Loved all the “beachy” touches and artwork. There were upgrades-lanai ceiling fan, closet ceiling fan, the extra kitchen utensils/cookware/plates/storage containers along with beach chairs and a cooler that were nice to have. It appeared freshly painted and furniture was in great shape. Loved the floor tile throughout instead of carpet. We always bring our own spices and baggies but the unit did have tinfoil, baggies and some spices left by other renters. There was good communication and both check-in check-out was easy. We used the bbqs-always a struggle to light, but maintenance helped us out with that. Ate at Beach House onsite a couple times. The food was yummy and service perfect! Also had dinner at Hula Grille at Whalers and ordered pizzas from Dollies-always a hit with the family!! We had 4 littles under the age of 6 traveling with us-those families were in other SOK units-so we didn’t do any excursions. Playing on the beaches/in the ocean, teaching them how to snorkel and hanging in the kiddie pool was plenty enough activity for them. Overall this unit was great! Two recommendations: clean some of the drinking/wine glasses that have a film; not dirty just a film. The fix for that is to dip in vinegar and rewash for sparkling glasses. Also, I would remove the blankets on the beds. The weather is so pleasant sleeping with a top sheet is enough coverage. Obviously these are very minor notations and would not stop us and shouldn’t stop anyone from renting this unit. We had a wonderful visit and would gladly stay in this unit again! Aloha!

Sands of Kahana Unit 353 is a perfect location with an amazing ocean & beach front view. A perfect location for our family with 4 busy kids with the beach and ocean steps away. The accommodations in unit 353 are perfectly comfortable with plenty of room. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The view that greeted us when we opened the door was amazing. This condo has everything. Two beautiful bedrooms with balconies and ocean views, two en suite bathrooms with ocean views. A spectacular living room beautifully decorated in Island style elegance. The lovely kitchen has granite counters and warm custom cabinets and stainless appliances. The kitchen is remarkably well appointed with anything you need for cooking, barbecuing, Sunset cocktails on the lanai or entertaining friends. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful 10 days at 353 Sands of Kahana. The condo was in a great location (right on the beach), was immaculate and well furnished through out, including the kitchen. Sullivan Properties was easy to deal with and very proactive in their communications throughout the process and stay. We'd come back to this condo in a minute.

We absolutely loved our stay in this unit! The Ocean views our breathtaking from every window. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable.The management company was fabulous with communication!We can't wait to stay again.

We loved our stay in unit 353. The property and unit are exactly as described. Very spacious condo, comfortable and convenient. We booked through VRBO and everything was easy. We had no issues.

The fact the unit did not have air conditioning is what kept it from obtaining 5 stars. Other than that, the beach view was wonderful, the staff was great, location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and other points of interest.

Sands of Kahana is an amazing view and immediate beach access. The rental has all the kitchen items you need and plenty of extras. We had zero problems with noise or comfort. The staff downstairs at the poolside restaurant are so very kind and they make you feel like they have known you for years. In addition, Sullivan prepares you fully with information filled emails and are excellent at communication. We have used them twice now and would not hesitate again in the future.

The property is very large and it had air conditioning, which is a plus. The reservation experience was very simple and we were kept informed of our stay every step of the way. The accommodations were better than a resort hotel.

Loved the location, the beach, and the swimming pools. The restaurant/bar was also excellent. Trying to locate accommodations for a large group can be very expensive; this condo was not overly priced and fit all our needs.

It was a fantastic room! The size of the unit was huge and the kitchen was so well stocked. If I had to name one thing that could be improved, it would be the window coverings. They were all pieced together, and dont quite fit the windows. The rooms were very light early, and that was hard to adjust to especially for my babies.
